Soal: a dirty pond
CALL FOR ENTRIES
I’m curating a collective quarantine zine. It’s difficult to feel afloat when the energy feels stagnant, but we are in this together. There is comfort in connection. You can submit anything you want: drawings, collage, paintings, comics, photography, poetry, short stories, journal entries, etc.
If you can’t muster a creation right now, you can submit something you made prior to quarantine that resonates with you.
I understand that this is not a productive time, and it doesn't need to be! I feel called to create a place where people can still share their creative processes. Through this zine, we are able to share the magnitude of this pandemic.
Submission deadline: 4/20.
I can guarantee this zine will be available to everyone in the form of a PDF, but it would be ideal if I could print it (this depends on the amount of submissions/pages, funds, and postal service). The main goal is that it gets shared.
STEPS:
1. Please send your submissions to my email (2 submissions per person):
In the body of the email please include:
* name and Instagram username
* stay anonymous yes/no
* title of your piece if it has one
2. You will receive an email with confirmation of your entries and accepted work!
Please only submit up to two entries. I may choose one or both depending on how many submissions I receive.Take care.
